ABA Therapy

Understanding Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach that helps children learn meaningful skills and improve behaviors. ABA therapy provides individualized support to help children develop communication, social, play, learning, self-help, and daily living skills.

Services begin with an individualized assessment to understand each child’s strengths, needs, skills, and areas where additional support may be helpful.

How ABA Therapy Helps

Building Skills for Everyday Life

In-home ABA therapy allows children to learn and practice meaningful skills in their familiar environment. Treatment is individualized to each child’s strengths and needs, with parents and caregivers involved throughout the process.

Communication & Social Skills

ABA therapy helps children develop communication and social interaction skills so they can express their needs, connect with others, and participate more meaningfully in everyday activities.

Play & Learning Skills

ABA therapy supports learning through structured activities and individualized strategies that help children build play, learning, and participation skills.

Self-Help & Daily Living Skills

Children can work on practical skills that support greater independence, including self-help and daily living skills.

Reducing Behaviors That Interfere With Learning

ABA can help reduce behaviors that interfere with learning, safety, and independence while teaching more effective skills and behaviors.

Individualized Treatment

Treatment recommendations and goals are based on each child's individual strengths and needs. The treatment plan is designed to provide meaningful and measurable support.

Parent & Caregiver Training

Parents and caregivers play an important role in a child's progress. Training and guidance help families use therapy strategies and support skill development outside of sessions.

Building Independence

ABA therapy helps children develop skills that support greater independence in communication, learning, self-help, daily living, and everyday activities.
